- Effectively
partnered with prestigious clients, ranging from exclusive high end
retailers to nationwide discount chains; on projects with budgets from
$200K to $1.5B; client list includes more than 40 distinct brands, among
them: Abercrombie & Fitch, Allied Domecq, Big Lots, Brookstone,
Cabela s, Charlotte Russe , Comark, Dick s Sporting Goods, Dollar
General, Guitar Center, Gymboree, Kohl s, Lifeway, Liz Claiborne,
National Gallery of Art, Nordstrom, Talborts, Things Remembered, United
Retail Group, Urban Brands, Wet Seal, Wicks N Sticks, Wild Oats and
more. Additionally directed projects for non-retail clients,
including 360Commerce, CRS, Databantage, Epicor, and Fujitsu.
- Brought on
board by the President of Liz Claiborne Outlet stores to develop
large-scale, long-term business improvement strategy for multiple
brands, including Dana Buchman, Elisabeth, Laundry by Shelli Shegal, Liz
Claiborne Collection, and Lucky Brand Jeans. Defined requirements,
introduced new technologies, implemented process improvements, and
increased available resources; worked closely with senior corporate
management and brand representatives to affect internal and external
changes to store operations.
- Successfully
led major Point of Sale initiative for Big Lots; conducted extensive
market research to identify and select appropriate solution for this $4B
retailer with more than 1,500 stores, executed due diligence and cost
negotiations, oversaw design and implementation, and steered development
of training methodology. Achieved on-time project completion with
exceptional level of accuracy.
- Performed
thorough evaluation of multiple business segments for Charlotte Russe
and delivered detailed assessments and recommendations to COO, CFO, and
CEO. Based on presentation, retained to lead due diligence
procedures to ensure next generation of store system applications met current
and anticipated business needs to allow for growth. Positioned
company to secure favorable terms on technological
purchases. Led implementation efforts and realized Phase I within
strict four-month schedule and budget guidelines.
