I effectively researched, drafted, and implemented the administrative record protocol with input from staff which was approved by management and ID Team, and implemented a proven Access database to manage and index administrative records, illustrating my comprehensive knowledge of developing and implementing effective plans.
While working as the Communications and Outreach Director at Eastern Nevada
Landscape Coalition, I researched, wrote and implemented the Coalition business
plan. Working closely with the Director, I reviewed, researched and
established the Coalition indirect rate while interpreting and applying the
Code of Federal Regulations. In addition, I served as acting Executive
Director in his absence, including 5 weeks at the end of the federal fiscal
year. I proficiently closed end of fiscal year task orders and
coordinated with 3 federal agencies, partnering non-profit organizations on new
and ongoing task orders.
Also, we were successfully awarded over $50,000 in grant funding to establish 7 Coordinated Weed Management Areas (CWMA) throughout the Ely BLM District. I liaised directly with local stakeholders and government agencies to develop, coordinate, and implement localized plans for strategic weed control and assisted with monitoring plans for grant and regulatory compliance. My solid background in conservation and natural resources has included responsibility for determining project requirements in order to develop and implement strategic plans to maximize overall performance.
